NAPOLEONIC TOUR in September 2012
for 200-year anniversary and celebrations of BORODINO BATTLE
On the first week of September Natalie Tours was honoured to organize a special historical tour, focused
on the museums and places dedicated to Napoleonic War of 1812. This tour was held exactly during the solemn celebrations of
200th anniversary of Borodino Battle, when the Russian army firstly showed the great resistance to Napoleon.
The group was represented by the specialists in war history. The guests witnessed the traditional annual re-enactment of the
Borodino battle on the Memorial Borodino Field, were among the first visitors of
the renovated Museum of Borodino Panorama and absolutely the first ones who stepped
into the Museum of War of 1812 right after its official opening in Moscow on the5th of September 2012!
Besides the historical spots, of course the group had the opportunity to get acquainted and enjoy the most popular, must-see
venues of the capital of Russia and take a day-tour to Tarutino and Maloyaroslavets.
